Black Youth Birding with Y-CAP

Had so much fun with these boys at YMCA YCAP Chattanooga!! Thanks to my uncle who is currently a counselor at this facility. We had a lot of fun going through the basics of birding, learning about flight and common species, and learning how to use binoculars. I’m thrilled I’ve finally gotten to use the binoculars provided KOWA Sporting Optics and Vortex Optics for a bird walk involving these amazing young Black kings! Being in a pandemic put a damper on a lot of the outdoor excursions people had planned for 2020, but we’re finally back and OUTSIDE!
